SHOOTING EXPERT 2Precision / Timing / Focus

Sixty rounds, sixty seconds, and a row of bottles.

A target range you can pick up for two minutes. Ten levels of bottles and steel plates, a magazine that does not refill and a clock that does not stop. The far targets are worth the most and they are the hardest to hit.

The range

Ten levels, and you never get a spare bullet

Every level hands you a set magazine and a set clock. Level 1 gives you sixty rounds and sixty seconds. From level 3 on it is forty five rounds, and the clock runs anywhere from sixty seconds to ninety.

The level ends when the clock hits zero, the magazine runs dry, or the last target goes down. Whatever time you had left multiplies what you scored, so clearing the board early is worth more than clearing it at all.

Level 1 in progress: a bottle breaking on the front plank, +40 and OK! over the shot, with the clock at 59 and 59 rounds left

Scoring

The small ones pay

A bottle is 40. A steel plate is 30 for the body, 50 through the middle and 70 for the head. Then every score is divided by how big the target is on screen, so a plate at the back of the range is worth three times the same plate up front.

That is the whole tension. The safe row is the cheap row.

Level 3: five steel silhouette plates standing on the middle plank of the range

Progress

Three stars a level, one star to move on

Each level has a maximum score and your stars come off the fraction of it you hit. Under 40 percent is nothing. Ninety percent or better is three.

One star opens the next level, so getting through is not the hard part. Going back for the third star is.

The level select screen: level 1 with three stars, level 2 with two, level 3 open and unplayed, the rest locked

Continual

Twenty seconds, and you buy the rest

The endless mode starts you with twenty seconds and no magazine limit. Bottles appear one at a time across three rows and each hit puts a little time back on the clock, worth a twenty fifth of what you scored for it.

Bank more than a hundred seconds and the clock drops back to twenty and your score goes up by a fifth. You cannot sit on a good clock. You have to spend it.

Continual mode at dusk: three empty planks across the range, one bottle standing at the back, 18.3 seconds on the clock

Controls

Put the trigger where your thumb already is

Drag the fire button anywhere on the screen and size it between 70 and 150 percent. The game remembers it per device, so a tablet and a phone can hold it in different places.

Aim with a swipe or with the phone itself. The gyro is on by default, with a sensitivity slider and an invert switch if you hold it the other way round.

The button layout editor open over a live level, with a SIZE slider and RESET and DONE buttons

How you aim

Five ways in, one crosshair

Every input feeds the same movement, and the game follows whichever one you touched last. Pick up a controller mid level and it just works.

Since 2014

Ten million installs, then a rebuild

The game went out on 25 August 2014 and was on a million devices four weeks later. It ran on the Play front page through the back half of that year, then faded with the organic discovery it lived on. Twelve years later it was still installed and still being played, on an engine that had stopped being maintained.

Version 2.0 is the whole game rewritten in Godot 4 in 2026, on the same package and the same Play Games account, so old achievements and leaderboard places still stand. The install numbers come from the Play Console exports published with the post about both ends of this.
