Shooting Expert: Target Range icon

SHOOTING EXPERTTarget Range

Tilt. Aim. Fire.

Thirty layouts on an outdoor range, with counted ammo and a clock. Bottles on a beam, steel poppers on a rail, ring targets sitting way out at the back. The farther out you shoot, the more it pays and the easier it is to miss.

Since 2013

Twelve years old, and rebuilt from nothing

The first Shooting Expert went on Google Play in September 2013. It ran on phones with almost no memory to spare, off a single photo of a field cut into four pieces so the hardware could load it, and it was installed 2,186,594 times.

This is that game built again from scratch in 2026. New engine, Full HD, a wider range and aim that suits a phone you would actually carry today. If you played the old one signed in to Google, your achievements and records are still sitting on your account.

The range

Look at the layout before you take the first shot

Thirty levels, each one a different arrangement. Rounds are counted and a level runs 25 to 55 seconds, so the order you take the targets in is most of your score.

One star opens the next level. Three stars on all thirty comes to 90, and the later packs wait until you have 15 and then 35.

Distance

The back of the range pays triple

A target at the far end is small, often half behind a wall, and easy to miss. It is also worth three times what the same target pays right in front of you.

Every level puts both within reach and lets you decide which ones you can afford to take.

What you shoot at

Six kinds of target

Each one scores differently, and three of them will not hold still for you.

Arcade

Sixty seconds, a hundred rounds

No layout to read and no level to finish. Targets arrive in waves that start close and slow, then come from farther back and move faster, until the clock stops.

Your best run is saved and goes on the leaderboard.

The Armory

Eight ways to hold the gun

Every new star pays out tokens. Spend them on eight gun and glove looks, from the tactical rig you start in to a competition pistol with very low recoil and a magnum that kicks hard.

Each one changes the recoil and how the gun feels, never what you can score. Stars alone unlock all eight, and an optional ad tops your tokens up if you want them sooner.

The board

Something to beat on every level

Sign in with Google Play Games for 18 achievements and a leaderboard on each of the 30 levels, plus boards for all-time points, best single score and the arcade.

Time left multiplies your score at the end and every round you did not spend adds 20 on top, so a fast clean run beats a careful one. Nothing in the game waits on a connection, and the whole thing plays offline.

End of level 8 with three stars, a score of 1840, a 1.60 time bonus and a 240 ammo bonus
